Jany 31st. Henry Chambers (nee James Green) Wm. Ryebold, master, + John Chambers (nee Danl Chambers) Thos Murphy, of Sassafras Neck, Cecil Co., Md.--left Christmas day + have been in Pa. since. A week before Christmas, being at Wilmington Del. with his master's team, Henry inquired of a colored man, how he could get clear, + was told to come to Wilmington + go to Franc [?] Flint. Did not leave then, because he chose to take his master's team home, but left on Christmas Day with his brother.

John Henry, belonged to Anthony Ryebold, brother of Wm. left a little before Christmas, with a companion, John Fisher, belonging to y same man.

Sent them all to Syracuse.                                                   17.40
