On the program, performed at McMillin Theater, were Concerto for Orchestra, First Portrait, and First Rhapsody for Violin and Orchestra, with Joseph Szigeti as soloist and the Symphony of the Air, Tibor Serly conducting, and Cantata Profana with the Robert Shaw Chorale, Shaw conducting.
