Program, 1973
Columbia University Archives, Rare Book and Manuscript Library
Music performance at present-day Columbia continues its strong tradition, a healthy and vibrant combination of professional and amateur music-making. Student performers form the basis of the Columbia Orchestra, the Collegium Musicum, the Barnard-Columbia Chorus, the Glee Club, the Band, and the Jazz Ensemble, among other groups. Students engaged in private instrumental study are also given abundant opportunities for chamber music performance.
