This manuscript is part of a series of additional material added at the end of a Sefer ‘Evronot (Book of Calendrical Calculations). Since the ‘Evronot was a fairly well-used book (used to determine dates between the Christian and Jewish calendars), there were often useful texts added at the end. (The calendar portion of this manuscript appears in the exhibition "The People in the Books".) The text shown here is a brief treatise, in Yiddish, on the making of dyes and coloring clothing.
