Robert K. Kraft Field at Lawrence A. Wien Stadium, 1984-present

Located on the banks of the Hudson and Harlem Rivers and within Columbia University’s Baker Athletic Complex, Robert K. Kraft Field at Lawrence A. Wien Stadium is the cornerstone of an impressive collection of facilities for Columbia football. Wien Stadium was described by Sports Illustrated as “one of the most beautiful places in the country to watch a football game.” In its fourth decade as the Lions’ home stadium, the facility features a state-of-the-art FieldTurf playing surface, video scoreboard for replays and entertainment, and an international-standard 400-meter track. It is the only regulation-size football stadium with a capacity of 10,000 or more on the island of Manhattan.

Invitation to the opening and dedication of Lawrence A. Wien Stadium at Baker Field held on September 22, 1984. The dedication was followed by the sold-out Columbia-Harvard game.
