Disappearance Diary. Hideo Azuma, 2008.

Butler PN6790.J33 A98 2008g

Depression and alcoholism contributed to manga-ka Azuma’s gradual, almost passive, abandonment of all his responsibilities and transition into homelessness.  He lived in the woods, pawed through garbage for food, drank whatever liquor he could find, and did his best to avoid arrest.  Over a decade later, he tells his story with child-like characters.
