A Church is Born: Church of South India Inauguration

The Greatest Miracle > Diversity

Tamils and Telugus,

Hindus and Moslems,

Lower caste and outcastes;

City dwellers and villagers:

Converts of missionaries from many lands - from England, Scotland and Australia, from the United States and Canada,

Of many denominations- Anglican, Congregational, Wesleyan, Presbyterian, and Reformed Churches.

In this new church all these South Indians now unite in one vital fellowship. To understand the full significance of this event we go back to the beginnings of Christianity in India.
