Bruno, perhaps the best known Renaissance practitioner of ars memoriae, built his mnemonics around the zodiac. The pages shown here showcase one of the most common mnemonic principles of the memory arts: linking memory to physical places, in this case the locus sigilli, or Roman wax seal.
